Every driver has a destination in mind, but in a crossroad many will wonder which path should they choose. Isn't it the same in the journey of life? In the crossroad of life, one will have to think if it would be wise of him to go left, or right? Should he advance or to retreat. Or maybe, I say just maybe, he should just stop and stay in his current location for a while. Just a while...
It's been a long time coming when I finally sat down and signed (part of) my life away to these various social networks.
Okay, you got me. This is basically how I spend my 'free' time, by youtub-ing away! Watching the MTV of the latest artist or songs and seeing WHAT THEY WEAR!
Record companies are forking out some huge dough to secure the flashiest and va va voom outfit for the artiste's. Who can forget the Dolce & Gabanna dress that Leona Lewis wore in her 'Bleeding Love' MTV? If you have not seen the dress (which is not possible as it is so shiny), go youtube and search for it. Note it is the original version not the US
Do remember to put on your shades in case you are blinded by those blings.
Back to my main post feature, I watched the new Katy Perry MTV, E.T, on the day when it launched online. So she sang through her first verse, though when I watched her in her alien form and the twirling chiffons, I don't know if you feel the way as I do. But it does remind me of the Kate Moss for McQueen hologram. Yes the one that appeared in McQueen's F/W 2006 collection.
I initially posted the link to 'Bleeding Love' but I think this is far more beautiful than the MTV. So enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1mcmgJe3Ks
Ar, got side-tracked again. So at 2.09mins through the MTV, the last dress from Viktor and Rolf S/S 2011 collection is featured:
If you don't have the luxury of watching it by sitting in the frontrow, do watch the MTV and experience it for yourself.
Afterall I do believe that good designs are meant to be displayed/shared with the masses.
